क्या आपको कभी अजीब फोन या मैसेज या ईमेल आये, जो यह कहते हैं कि आप किसी गैरकानूनी गतिविधि में शामिल हैं? या कभी किसी लॉटरी जीतने का मैसेज आया है जिसमे आपने कभी पार्टिसिपेशन ही नहीं लिया? या आपके नाम कोई पार्सल है, जिसका कभी आपने ऑर्डर ही नहीं किया? सावधान! ये सब स्कैम हो सकते हैं!
धोखेबाज हमेशा आपके पैसे या व्यक्तिगत जानकारी चुराने के लिए नए-नए तरीके अपनाते रहते हैं। आइए जानें कुछ ऐसे आम जालसाजी के बारे में जिनसे आपको सावधान रहना चाहिए:
पार्सल स्कैम Parcel scam: आपको एक फोन आता है जिसमें कहा जाता है कि आपके नाम के पार्सल में ड्रग्स मिली हैं। वे आपको अपना नाम साफ करने के लिए पैसे या व्यक्तिगत जानकारी देने के लिए डराते हैं।
लॉटरी स्कैम Lottery scam: आपको मेसेज में या कभी कभी कॉल में बताया जाता है कि आप एक लॉटरी जीत गए हैं, जिसमें आपने कभी हिस्सा नहीं लिया था। वे आपका “इनाम” पाने के लिए पैसे या व्यक्तिगत जानकारी मांगते हैं, जो आपको कभी नहीं मिलेगा।
टेक सपोर्ट स्कैम Tech support scam: जालसाज बड़ी कंपनियों के टेक सपोर्ट होने का नाटक करते हैं, यह कहते हुए कि आपका कंप्यूटर संक्रमित है। वे आपको फर्जी मरम्मत के लिए भुगतान करने या उन्हें आपकी जानकारी चुराने का एक्सेस देने के लिए दबाव डालते हैं।
बकाया भुगतान स्कैम Outstanding payment scam: आपको एक फर्जी खाते पर बकाया भुगतान के बारे में चेतावनी दी जाती है। वे तुरंत भुगतान नहीं करने पर कानूनी कार्रवाई की धमकी देते हैं।
लोन ऑफर स्कैम Loan scam: आपके पास कुछ मेसेज आयेंगे – जो आपको आसान लोन बिना mortgage के देने का वादा करेंगे और आपके आवश्यक डॉक्यूमेंट लेकर उनका दुरुपयोग कर सकते है।
प्रेम संबंधों से जुड़े स्कैम Romance scam: कोई मेसेज या सोशल मीडिया पर आपसे मित्रता जतायेंगे, अपने पद और पैसे के नाम से प्रभावित कर, क़ीमती गिफ्ट भेजने के बहाने या आपसे अपनी फेक निजी जानकारी शेयर कर आपको भी ऐसा करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करेंगे फिर आपको प्रभावित कर या धमकी देकर ब्लैकमेल करते हुए आपसे पैसे वसूलेंगे।
फ़र्ज़ी जॉब ऑफर Fake job offer scam: आपको इंस्टग्राम रील या यूट्यूब चैनल के वीडियो लाइक, सब्सक्राइब, देखने के लिए कुछ आकर्षक रक़म देने का प्रलोभन देंगे, और आरंभ में विस्वाश दिलाने को एक छोटी रक़म दे भी देंगे, और टेलीग्राम जैसे उनके चैनल जो आसानी से ट्रेक ना किए जा सकते हो, पर आने को प्रेरित करेंगे, और अंत में आपको विभिन्न तरीक़ों से फँसा कर पैसे वसूलेंगे या अपने साथ मनी ट्रेल में फँसा लेंगे।
क्लासीफाइड वेबसाइट के स्कैम Classifieds website scam: आप कभी अपनी कोई कुछ पुराना अनुपयोगी समान बेचने के लिए किसी क्लासिफाइड वेबसाइट पर गये होंगे, वहाँ आपको कोई अपनी बातों में फ़साँ कर आपको UPI से पेमेंट करने का वादा करता है, और आपके पास एक अमाउंट का मेसेज आता है, और otp आता है, जिसे दूसरी और से कोई मागेगा, जैसे भी आप देते है, आपके अकाउंट से पैसे निकल जाते है – जबकि पेमेंट रिसीव करने के लिए कभी भी OTP देने की ज़रूरत नहीं।
UPI स्कैम UPI scam: इस तरह के फ्रॉड में स्कैमर्स यूपीआई यूजर्स तक पहुंचते हैं और बकाया बिल भुगतान का दावा करते हैं। स्कैमर्स यह समझाने की कोशिश करते हैं कि बिल का समय पर भुगतान नहीं हुआ है, जिसे खास तरह के यूपीआई ऐप के इस्तेमाल पर जोर देते हैं। ऐसे में यूजर्स बिना सोचे-समझे धोखे का शिकार हो जाते हैं और भुगतान करने के लिए नकली ऐप डाउनलोड कर लेते हैं।

Scammers are always coming up with new ways to steal your money or personal information. It’s important to be aware of common scams so you can protect yourself.
Common Scams:
Parcel scam: You receive a call saying that drugs were found in a parcel addressed to you. The scammer threatens to report you to the authorities unless you pay them money or give them your personal information.
Lottery scam: You receive a message or call saying that you have won a lottery that you never entered. The scammer asks for money or personal information in order to claim your “prize.”
Tech support scam: A scammer pretends to be from a tech support company and claims that your computer is infected with a virus. They pressure you to pay for fake repairs or give them access to your computer to steal your information.
Outstanding payment scam: You receive a warning about an outstanding payment on a fake account. The scammer threatens legal action if you don’t pay immediately.
Loan scam: You receive unsolicited messages offering easy loans without collateral. The scammer may take your documents and misuse them.
Romance scam: Someone messages you on social media and pretends to be interested in you. They may gain your trust by sending you gifts and sharing personal information. Then, they may blackmail you for money.
Fake job offer scam: You see an ad on social media or a classifieds website offering a high-paying job for simple tasks. The scammer may send you a small amount of money initially to gain your trust. Then, they may ask you to complete tasks or pay for training materials. Ultimately, they will scam you out of money.
Classifieds website scam: You post an ad on a classifieds website to sell something. The scammer contacts you and offers to pay you through UPI. They send you a message with an amount and ask for the OTP. Once you provide the OTP, they can withdraw money from your account.
UPI scam: Scammers target UPI users and claim that they have an outstanding bill. They convince the user to download a fake UPI app and make a payment. The scammer then drains the user’s bank account.

- Stay calm Legitimate agencies and officials will never pressure or threaten you over the phone.
