Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) says her office called 911 on a protester who whistled during her Friday night press conference after the heckler “assaulted everyone” with the noise.
“As you can see there are paid protesters here today,” Greene said as the sound of chaos echoed in the background outside the DC jail where the Jan. 6 defendants are behind. bars. The noise appeared to be coming entirely from a single protester. “And they can whistle and say whatever they want but we won’t be deterred. We don’t care about them because they are working for evil,” Greene said.
In a sequel Tweeter brandon MAGA said the protester, who was wearing a mask and goggles, “must be stopped, and we tried to get him arrested”.
We toured the DC Jail today and held a press conference outside the jail after our tour. This man assaulted everyone there by blowing a whistle as loud in as he could in other’s ears and tried multiple times to assault me and other members.

She alleged that he “repeatedly attempted to assault me and other members.”
On Friday night, Greene’s spokesman Nick Dyer told The Daily Beast that after their office called local police about the whistleblower protester, police “did not arrive until” the whistler had left the area.
“No one from the prison tried to arrest him,” he added, while citing a DC criminal code on disorderly conduct. “We waited over four minutes on hold for a 911 call.” The Metropolitan Police Department did not return the Daily Beast’s emailed request for comment and did not comment by telephone on Friday evening.
This isn’t the first time a Greene presser has been drowned out by a rowdy whistleblower.
The bathroom battle fueling Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert’s breakup
In July 2021 outside the Department of Justice, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and Greene had to cut their event short after the event went sideways.
“To the guy who denounces: we are not deterred”, added the deputy at the time.
